Rockefeller Center

Built by none other than the Rockefeller family, the19 commercial buildings of Rockefeller Center span the distance between Fifth and Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The Art Deco architecture was born from the original design plans that included an opera house until the Stock Market Crash in 1929. Though the opera house was never completed, the Art Deco architecture remained, and it has become home to such landmarks as Radio City Music Hall, the GE Building or “30 Rock”, and a beautiful display of artistic sculptures.
