Zoo Miami

The Zoo Miami is the largest and oldest zoological garden and tropical zoo in the United States. Set on a beautiful, perennially warm 740-acres, more than 2,000 animals call the Zoo Miami home.
There are four main sections to the zoo, capitalizing on exhibits and animals that thrive in a tropical environment, including Asia, Africa, the Amazon and Beyond, and Australia. An air-conditioned monorail loops around the Miami Zoo, providing an aerial view of the zoo and a comfortable, convenient way to move between sections of the zoo.
