Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum of London is a world-renowned museum comprised of 70 million items within five main life and earth science collections, including Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy, Paleontology, and Zoology. Given the age of the Institution, many of the collections have great historical and scientific value; including specimens collected by Darwin and “Archie” the famed Giant Squid in the Museum’s Darwin Centre. The Natural History Museum is famous for its dinosaur fossil exhibit and ornate architecture, with the 105-foot cast of “Dippy” a Diplodocus cast model dominating its central hall. The adjacent Geological Museum is a part of the Natural History Museum; providing visitors the opportunity to learn more about our planet Earth.
