Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is a landmark and popular tourist attraction in the heart of London, enjoyed by visitors and residents alike. At the center of Trafalgar Square is Nelson’s Column, flanked by fountains, and guarded by four bronze lion statues. The column is topped by a statue of Horatio Nelson, a vice admiral of the British Fleet at Trafalgar. A variety of statues and plinths are displayed throughout the Square.
Trafalgar Square is a lively place used for a variety of activities and celebrations including St. Patrick’s Day, New Year’s Eve, political demonstrations, and community gatherings.
