Gothic Quarter

The Gothic Quarter is considered to be at the center of the old city of Barcelona, perhaps the best place to experience ancient architecture alongside modern architecture. Many of the buildings in the Gothic Quarter date back to Medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona, as evidenced by remnants of ancient Roman walls.
