Palatine Hill

Palatine Hill is the centermost of the famed seven hills of Rome, and one of the most ancient parts of the city. Located in between Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum, the Hill was inhabited as long ago as the 10th century BC.
Once considered to be a fashionable place to live because of its amazing views, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum beneath it, is now a large open-air museum and can be visited on the same ticket as the Colosseum.
