Roppongi District

Roppongi is a district in Tokyo that is well known as the city’s most popular and active night life scenes among tourists, offering a large number of foreigner friendly bars, restaurants, and night clubs. Roppongi is home to many embassies and a large expatriate community.
The Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown redevelopment projects have expanded Roppongi’s appeal to visitors and residents, offering elegant retail, restaurants, luxury hotels, residential and office space.
The District has become a cultural center with the arrival of several art museums, including the National Art Center, Mori Art Museum, and Suntory Museum of Art, and is commonly referred to as the “Art Triangle Roppongi”.
