Morro de Corcovado

Towering 2,310 feet above the city of Rio de Janeiro at the highest point, Morro de Corcovado also known as the Corcovado Mountain, is a granite rock in the Tijuca Forest. It is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, “Cristo Redentor,” the statue known worldwide as “Christ the Redeemer”, which stands 98 feet above Corcovado’s highest peak.
Spectacular views from the observation deck include the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Sugarloaf Mountain, and other popular Rio attractions.
