Walt Disney Concert Hall

Opened in 2003, the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles is one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world. The dramatic stainless-steel exterior consists of wildly undulating curved surfaces.
Thanks to bequests from the Disney family and other sponsors, the city boasts an internationally recognised architectural landmark. From the curves of its striking exterior to the state-of-the-art acoustics of the hardwood-panelled main auditorium, the 3.6-acre complex embodies the unique energy and creative spirit of the city of Los Angeles and its orchestra.
The venue hosts classical, jazz and world music performances and other one-off shows.
