Ponte Vecchio

The Ponte Vecchio is the oldest bridge in Florence, believed to have existed during Roman times. This pedestrian bridge spans the river Arno, and one of few bridges that remain with shops built upon it.
Most beautiful at dusk, Ponte Vecchio offers a consistently vibrant atmosphere alive with tourists, shop owners, musicians, portraitists, and other entertainers.
