National Museum of Ireland

Established in 1890, the National Museum of Ireland incorporates Ireland’s heritage from 2000 B.C. to the present. There are three branches of the National Museum in Dublin, including the Archaeology, Decorative Arts and History, and Natural History Museums. The fourth branch, the Museum of Country Life is in County Mayo. All branches of the National Museum of Ireland have a strong emphasis on Irish art, culture, and natural history.
