Casa Rosada

One of the most photographed buildings in Buenos Aires, the Casa Rosada is the primary focus on the Plaza de Mayo. Contrary to popular belief, the Argentine president does not live here; however, it is from a balcony of the building that Eva Peron addressed adoring crowds.
Visitors to the Casa Rosada can watch the changing of the guard in front of the palace every hour on the hour, and walk through the Presidential Museum that includes information on the history of the buildings and items owned by various presidents over the centuries.
