Odeonsplatz

The Odeonsplatz is a beautiful square that is bordered by several prominent structures in Munich, leading to the Siegestor, a large triumphal arch from one of the city’s monumental streets, Ludwigstrasse.
Among the beautiful structures are the Italianesque Feldermhalle, or Field Marshall’s Hall, the copper-domed Theatinerkirche, an Italian baroque style Theatiner Church, and Hofgarten, a Renaissance court garden created in the 1600’s, which features a domed temple crowned with a bronze figure symbolizing Bavaria.
