Museum Ludwig

Home to one of the world’s largest collections of works by Pablo Picasso, the Museum Ludwig houses 49 paintings, 29 ceramics, 37 works on paper, 15 relief plates, and 681 graphic prints created by Picasso. The museum was named after the late German art patron Peter Ludwig, who donated these famous works to the museum from his personal collection.
The museum is home to an extensive collection of modern art from Dali, Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Rauchenberg, rivaling the Guggenheim Museum in New York. In addition, the Agfa-Historama exhibit showcases a collection of historic photographs and cameras chronicling the art of photography.
