Garuda WisnuKencana

Set on 600 acres of land, the Garuda WisnuKencana Cultural Park, or GWK, is dedicated to support and preserve the art, cultural, culinary, and spiritual attributes of Bali.
A copper, steel and brass statue of a gigantic Vishnu riding on the back of a “Garuda” (a supernatural eagle-like being) has been under construction as afocal point of GWK. Once completed, the statue will reach 475 feet atop a hill, and one of the world’s tallest statues, with magnificent panorama views of Bali.
This cultural park has become one of the favorite places in Bali for art and cultural performances, exhibitions, and conferences. Outdoor venues, shops, theatres, restaurants, and a variety of entertainment are featured at the Garuda WisnuKencana Cultural Park.
