Raffles Hotel

Built in 1887 to accommodate an upper class clientele, Raffles Hotel was originally a couple of bungalows with10 rooms offering a spectacular view of the ocean. Soon thereafter, more guest rooms, dining rooms, verandas, the Bar and Billiards Room, a ballroom, and a group of boutiques were added, creating increased demand.
In the 1990’s Raffles was completely restored and expanded to the splendor of that era. Today, Raffles houses 13 restaurants and bars, a theater playhouse, the Raffles Hotel Museum, and exclusive boutiques, attracting thousands of visitors to its doors daily.
