Old Town

Zurich’s Old Town, or Alstadt, is the historic section of the city featuring cobblestone streets, a variety of small stores, hotels, and restaurants, as well as many of the city’s most significant religious landmarks, such as the Fraumunster Cathedral, Grossmunster, and St. Peter’s Church. Visitors will also find several acclaimed museums in Old Town such as the Museum Rietberg, the Swiss National Museum, and the Kunsthaus Zurich.
