National Palace

The National Palace is a complex containing many rooms, stone stairways, and courtyards that were once the workplace of the president of Mexico. They remain an important site for presidential meetings and events.
The palace was once occupied by Herman Cortes, the Spanish explorer who conquered the Aztecs. It is well known for the beautiful, legendary murals that are displayed on the second-floor by renowned artist, Diego Rivera, depicting the history of Mexico.
