The Baur Collection

The Baur Collection is housed in an elegant 19th century mansion near the Old City, and contains one of the most exceptional collections of Chinese and Japanese ceramics, porcelain, china, jade, lacquerware, and engravings.
Visiting the Baur Collection Museum is a historical and cultural journey through 10 centuries of Japanese and Chinese art. Established with the private collection of Alfred Baur, new pieces are constantly added to the collection, in addition to temporary exhibitions that are held throughout the year.
