Nanjing Museum

The Nanjing Museum is one of the largest museums in China. The main building, which combines both Chinese and western architectural styles, is more than seventy years old. There are now eleven exhibition halls in the Nanjing Museum, which display Ancient Chinese Earthenware, Ancient Chinese Jade, Ancient Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, Bronze Ware, Cultural Relics, Folk Art, Jiangnan Silk, Ming and Qing Porcelain, and Modern Art. One of the museum’s most popular exhibits is a suit of armor made from small tiles of jade which are stitched together with silver wire.
