Dameisha and Xiaomeisha Beaches

The sparkling waters of the South China Sea extend beyond these two beaches, which have been popular destinations for centuries. Xiao Meisha is ringed on three sides by lush mountains. The beach is more than half a mile long. Da Meisha is twice as long, where themed sculptures have been constructed and cultural relics, including ancient bronzeware, are on display at the foot of the adjacent mountains. Along with swimming, visitors to Da Meisha and Xiao Meisha can enjoy beach volleyball, windsurfing, diving and sea kayaking. Weddings are a common sight on each of these two popular Shenzhen beaches.
