Lotus Hill

Located on the northern edge of central Shenzhen, Lotus Hill Park is the city’s playground, with broad lawns and lavish gardens. At the center of the park is a cast bronze statue of former Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping. A popular activity at Lotus Hill is kite flying, and visitors can enjoy stunning views of the city from areas such as Mountaintop Square. Also known as Lianhua Mountain Park, Lotus Hill is popular with young families, offering picnic areas, open space, playgrounds and a lake. There is also a flower market and a permanent exhibition on contemporary Chinese urban planning.
