Minsk Aircraft World

The former Russian aircraft carrier Minsk is now a tourist attraction in Shenzhen’s Dapeng Bay, where more than five million people have toured the ship since its debut as a military theme park in 2000. The ship’s flight deck and hangar deck can be visited, and special events, including concerts, are staged on the Minsk’s flight deck. Exhibits have also been set up to show off the former crew’s quarters and areas where munitions were stored. Military aircraft and armaments on display at Minsk Aircraft World include a MiG-23, MiG-24, Mikoyan MiG-27, Yakovlev Yak-38, and an SA-N-3.
