Splendid China

The Splendid China Folk Village is a theme park designed to showcase China’s history, customs, arts, culture, and traditional architecture. There are two sections of the park, Splendid China Miniature Park and the China Folk Culture Village. Splendid China is located in an economic zone in Shenzhen Bay: traveling to the park by rail from Shenzhen’s Luohu Station takes forty minutes. There are more than a hundred miniaturized attractions on display, including the Great Wall of China, The Temple of Heaven, Three Gorges Dam, Potala Palace, The Terracotta Army, and The Forbidden City. Special events such as horse shows are staged on weekends.
