The Temple of Dawn

WatArrun, known locally as WatChaeng, is a beautiful temple located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. The beauty of the architecture and fine craftsmanship of the WatArun make it one of the most outstanding temples in Thailand. The spire of the temple is beautifully decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain pieces carefully placed in intricate patterns. The Temple of Dawn is absolutely stunning at sunset, particularly when illuminated at night.
