Since 01.01.2013/ the city of Cologne has changed the previous statute on the cultural subsidy/ so that in future/ the cultural subsidy must only be paid on privately requested overnight stays. However/ business travellers must prove that the overnight stay is business/professionally related and urgently necessary/ to be exempt from the cultural subsidy. The city of Cologne will only accept its own forms for this purpose/ which you can download at http://www.stadt-koeln.de/1/stadtfinanzen/06591/. For employees/ the employer/master certification must be filled in beforehand by the company or relevant institution/ and handed in to reception at the latest on check out. Self employed persons and freelancers must fill in the self certification/ which the hotel can also provide at the reception. The 4-Star Design-Hotel is located in the very heart of Cologne in a quiet residential area/ just 300 m from the Main railway station. The unique atmosphere is a confluence of design/ architecture and material. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC/ telephone with Internet/fax access/ TV with Pay-TV/ safe/ mini-bar and hairdryer.
