The new owners of Hotel Betania are proud to welcome their guests to a totally reconstructed and modernized villa, completed in the Fall of 2006. The hotel had been closed over six-months during the reconstruction. The important historic detail of the original architecture was carefully preserved, such as the typical Florentine charcoal hand-crafted walls, refurbished stone surfaces, and decorative arches. At the same time the building was brought up to code with state-of-the-art safety and fire-alert technology as well as high speed internet wireless access, printing, and faxing. Guests enjoy all-new central air-conditioning and heating systems, satellite TV, free on-site private car parking. Hotel Betania is within leisure walking distance to such popular sights as Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi gallery and the Duomo. However, guests may prefer the convenient city bus services with an average waiting time of about five minutes.
